Family Fun Thursdays

Thursdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Ages 4 to 10 (Smaller kids are always welcome to participate but may need parent assistance)

Drop in at the Museum every Thursday for some extra fun included with admission.

Seek & Find through the village, learn about uses and meanings of flowers and herbs, or play some pioneer games – what will you discover?

Programming changes weekly, the Family Fun lineup will be updated shortly before the open season.

Education Programs

We are pleased to offer a variety of curriculum based programs for all grade levels at the Museum Village. All programs can be tailored to the unique needs of your class. Full and half day programs are available. Outreach programs to bring history directly to your classroom are also available. We offer customizable group tours for Scouts and Guides, Day Camps, Seniors Groups, International Studies Groups, and more!

Birthday Parties

Parties at the Museum Village are available from May to September, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Cost (10 children): $182.38 (incl. HST)

Additional 10 children: $50.31 (incl. HST)

Party in the Past

Step back in time with old-fashioned games and toys, try a heritage craft, and explore the Museum Village with a seek and find! Party can be adjusted for different age groups. Includes 1.5 hours of programming and 1.5 hours of indoor or outdoor party space with a fridge and freezer available.

The Scugog Shores Museum Village and Archives is pleased to be the summer home of Theatre on the Ridge! Museum visitors will receive a voucher for a $5 discount on Theatre on the Ridge tickets.

Take in a show under the beautiful show tent on the Museum grounds. Explore the museum with a guided tour during open hours or an audio tour past close.
