Chamber of Commerce

The North Durham Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization representing businesses and professionals across the Townships of Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge. Their members are community builders who share a common goal: to make North Durham a thriving place to live, work, and do business. The Chamber is supported by local members and guided by a volunteer board of directors committed to regional prosperity.

Mission Statement

The mission of the North Durham Chamber of Commerce is to provide businesses in our industrial, agricultural, tourism, commercial, service, and technology sectors with valuable resources, relevant information, and meaningful networking opportunities. They are dedicated to being a strong, unified voice for business throughout North Durham.

Goals

The main goals of the North Durham Chamber of Commerce are to:  

• Promote and support business growth across North Durham while enriching our communities.
• Encourage tourism development, downtown revitalization and regional collaboration.
• Strengthen North Durham businesses by growing membership and, thus, expanding resources.
• Advocate on behalf of local businesses at all levels of government.
